Warehouse Associate
Position Information:
- Hourly wage: starting at $16.00
- Hours per week: 40 minimum
- Duration: April – September
- Location: Onslow, NS
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Receiving and maintaining inventory of pesticides, seed, farm supply, fertilizer.
- Keeping warehouse clean and organized
- Serving customers (farm and retail)
- Packing orders for shipments
- Communicating with office staff on orders, shipments in and out, inventory levels
- Assisting with field trap set-up and crop scouting, as needed

- Ability to work with others on tasks or projects
- Proficient in verbal and written communication
- Leadership skills; ability to take initiative and work independently
- Ability to manage time around tasks at hand

- Willingness to work overtime hours
- Willingness and ability to do physical labour
- Willingness to assist with field scouting and insect trap programs
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training (provided on hire)
